Also whole situation has worsened during a pandemic period. So City of Sibenik had started with several activities to tackle negative effects on local community with the special focus on youth. font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); background-color: var(--base-3);\">b) Public spaced didn\u2019t used in their full potential (no matter of the pandemic).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); background-color: var(--base-3);\">c) Higher unemployment of young <\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); background-color: var(--base-3);\">people that results by their emigration.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-6533\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-6533\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon elementor-accordion-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-plus\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-opened\"><i class=\"fas fa-minus\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-accordion-title\" tabindex=\"0\">What were the objectives being achieved?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-6533\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-6533\"><p>a) In 2021, based on the application, <strong>the city of S\u030cibenik became the first of 9 cities in Croatia to be awarded the &#8216;City for Youth&#8217; certificate<\/strong>. In order to obtain certificate City of Sibenik had to adopt \u2018The European Charter on Local Youth Work\u2019 and check 72 indicators in different fields connected to youth (some of them are: public spaces, <strong>promotion of mobility, health, free time,<\/strong> education). In the same year City of Sibenik had applied for participation in project <strong><em>&#8216;Europe Goes Local&#8217;<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 Supporting Youth Work at the Municipal Level \u201c. Europe Goes Local is a European cooperation project to develop and strengthen local youth work. Project is implemented by 26 National agencies in cooperation with EU-CoE youth partnership, European Youth forum and two European networks: POYWE \u2013 Professional Open Youth Work\u00a0<span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); background-color: var(--base-3);\">Europe and InterCity Youth Network.<\/span><\/p><p><b>That is why up to this day City of Sibenik:<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">\u2022\u00a0 Have adopted The European Charter on Local Youth Work.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: inherit; font-family: -apple-system, system-ui, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif, 'Apple Color Emoji', 'Segoe UI Emoji', 'Segoe UI Symbol';\">\u2022\u00a0<\/span>Participated on the trainings for policy makers in the field of youth.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, system-ui, 'system-ui', 'Segoe UI', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif, 'Apple Color Emoji', 'Segoe UI Emoji', 'Segoe UI Symbol'; color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); background-color: var(--base-3);\">\u2022\u00a0<\/span>Implementing youth participation project financed by Erasmus+ program,\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, system-ui, 'system-ui', 'Segoe UI', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif, 'Apple Color Emoji', 'Segoe UI Emoji', 'Segoe UI Symbol'; color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); background-color: var(--base-3);\">\u2022\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); background-color: var(--base-3);\">which aim is to make a Management model of future Youth Center together with young people, NGO\u2019s and other\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); background-color: var(--base-3);\">experts.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\">b) The Study on sustainable digitalization have been made in January 2022. A series of guidelines were presented how\u00a0<span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); background-color: var(--base-3);\">to use public spaces in innovative ways by using public Wi-Fi infrastructure and accompanying activities\/facilities.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\">c) Until July 2022 young people have been awarded with the certificates for Full sack developer \u2013 highly competitive\u00a0<span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); background-color: var(--base-3);\">position in the IT.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\">With b) and c) there are multiple there are multiple benefits for local community. With investment on digital\u00a0<span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); background-color: var(--base-3);\">infrastructure citizens have access to free fast internet connection which during the pandemic was important due to\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); background-color: var(--base-3);\">raising number of people working remotely. Also this study is valuable starting point for setting up stimulating\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); background-color: var(--base-3);\">environment for attracting digital nomads which can stay in Sibenik during whole year. With free courses in the field of\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); background-color: var(--base-3);\">IT City of Sibenik did not only strengthen competences of NEET\u2019s. However, in the same time it had made a fertile soil\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); background-color: var(--base-3);\">for development of community of young people who will be able to use their digital tool in promotion of City of\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); background-color: var(--base-3);\">Sibenik as city where young people can come to work in the field of IT.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( of Branding strategy of City of SIbenik which was conducted through 2021.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">Regarding \u2018Trokut digital NEET Academy\u2019\u2019.
